Camera Controls

 

It is essential there is an understanding of how a digital camera works and having an understanding of how the main controls works.

The main functions you need to fully understand are :

Where the on/off button is.

The shutter button and whether it has an auto-focus control. If it does there's be one press to focus then the second press to shoot.

The zoom in/out function, to take telephoto, mid-range photos, wide angle photos. This school camera has a 25/400 zoom lens.

The Mode dial and the main functions. The default is 'P' (Program).

There are two viewfinder options. To view photos, use the green arrow and view screen.
